I love/hate spiders

I was turning a caterpillar loose on my hibiscus tree and in the process, almost tripped over myself when I realize how close my hand was to this little guy. I can't stand spiders, but isn't he (she?) pretty?



Also, check out these two. I think they're called spiny-backed funnel web spiders. Some people call them jewel spiders. I call them my excuse for not weeding the beds in the backyard. They're all over the place.
